Snow Sweepers

This is just an interesting local note. Snow fell and collected on the sidewalks today. Very lovely. And as we are looking out of our window at just after midnight local time, there are two snow sweepers sweeping snow with short little brooms I have seen only used by flying witches in movies like the Wizard of Oz. The men methodically swept the snow into piles. Finally, they pulled out a small shovel and threw the piles of snow into the street. My back hurts just from watching them.
