Helpful Grocery Services

Each time we buy flour, sugar, butter, vegetables, fruits, or any other type of food stuff that could leak or spill on the way to our apartment, store clerks ALWAYS put those items in separate little plastic bags. A kindness for a walking and bus-riding population. Special note: The potatoes in this picture are the biggest ones we've found so far!! Hurray!!

A special sales team was in the store this morning to promote Korean fruit. We checked the price of the apples, but just couldn't splurge at $3.00 EACH. They must be the most delicious apples on the planet, so it is best that we don't find out.

We are making very fun friends with the ladies in the produce department of one local store. They truly appreciate our attempts to speak Russian, and we truly appreciate their obvious enjoyment of and patience during our attempts to communicate.
