Farewell and Change in Mission Training Center Report Date
Our farewell Sacrament Meeting program was Sunday, August 18, 2013. We were very grateful for all the friends and famly members who attended and supported us. Our daughter, Amber, sang a beautiful vocal solo, "I Believe in Christ," and our nieces and nephews from the Sherri and David Jensen family played "Come Follow Me" on their string instruments. Needless to say, the music was divine. We (Mark and Lynda) were the speakers, of course. Whew! All done with that major milestone.Original MTC report plans had us departing October 28, 2013. Then President Brinton of the Vladivostok Russia Mission requested that we leave earlier, resulting in a departure date of September 2, 2013. However, this last week, the Church travel folks from Salt Lake City called to inform us that due to Visa problems, our MTC report date has been changed to September 30, 2013. We can use the extra time to finish up projects.
