| Our lesson was on gratitude--thanksgiving. Elder Nelson presented the story of the first Pilgrims who celebrated Thanksgiving with Indians in America and the many blessings and miracles that occurred to enable them to survive. Then we handed out coloring pictures and markers and turned them loose. We discovered, to our delight, that young people and missionaries in Russia love to color. |

| We had a full house, lots of talk and laughter, and then they mobbed the wall to create our thanksgiving turkey. Each of those present wrote on a turkey feather about the things for which they are personally thankful. The ones that we can read (written in English) are a delight. We still await translation of the Cyrillic writings. |

| Our YSA student council president is putting up her artwork in the foreground, an eager and enthusiastic 11-year old visitor (investigator) is behind her, and another of our very favorite young members stands waiting for his turn at the turkey wall. |

| The end result is a delightful decoration for our apartment at this Thanksgiving time of year, and a sweet memory of the delightful young people who took part in its creation. |
