Leaders of the Mission Young Single Adult Student Council

Last week, these two awesome people, a very young and very stalwart couple of LDS young adults, were called and set apart as our mission (stake-level) young single adult student council president and first counselor. They both just arrived from Sakhalinsk for their first semester at university. The young man was baptized 2 weeks before he was called to this position. We are honored and excited to be working with them.

Elder Nelson and the YSA Student Council 1st counselor are on the floor, cleaning off permanent marker that had been accidentally applied to our whiteboard during Family Home Evening a few nights earlier. This young man's mother works in the hospital and had supplied him with a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol---very hard to find here---and he very kindly let us use it, then GAVE us the bottle. We couldn't talk him out of giving it to us. We love these young people!!
