man rushed up to us, obviously in a state of great
excitement. He introduced himself and pointed at the
badge I wear that introduces me as a missionary of
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is a member of the Church, and was delighted to
see us. He explained that he had served a mission in
St. Petersburg, then returned to live there after his mission.
We chatted very rapidly, very happily. I was most excited
When he told me that he had recently been married for time
for all eternity in the Kiev, Ukraine, temple! We were all sad
when we had to say good-bye and go our separate ways.
