Cooking Tips
Some sisters have been asking for weeks to learn how to make our brownies. So, last Wednesday evening we hosted a cooking class. Everyone took turns measuring, stirring, and pouring the brownie mixture. A spiritual thought, a fishing game, and checkers made waiting easy. Then we ate the entire batch! Note: Russians don't use measuring cups or spoons as we know them in America, so I'm not sure how their batches will turn out. We tried to help in the conversion process by pouring our cup of sugar into a regular tea cup and a tablespoon of sugar into a regular spoon so that they would have an idea of this particular conversion rate. One Russian and one American licked the beaters.
